1991 Founded

Born From a Love of Authentic Flavors

In 1991, Anthony Bruno walked into a small Boca Raton storefront with a dream: to bring the authentic coal-fired pizza he grew up eating in New Jersey to South Florida. Armed with a single cast-iron coal-fired oven and his grandmother's handwritten dough recipe, he opened our doors — and never looked back.

What started as a neighborhood pizza joint quickly became a local institution. Word spread about the signature crackly crust, the blistered char, and the impossibly fresh toppings. Decades later, that same uncompromising dedication to craft defines every pizza we put in the oven.

The First Flame Is Lit

Anthony Bruno opens the original Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza at 21065 Powerline Rd, Boca Raton. A single coal oven, six tables, and an endless passion for authentic pizza.

1996

Recognition & Expansion

Named "Best Pizza in South Florida" by the Sun-Sentinel. We expanded our dining room to accommodate the growing demand from loyal guests across Boca Raton.

2003

New Menu, Same Roots

We introduced our expanded menu featuring coal-fired chicken wings, roasted vegetables, and specialty pastas — all cooked in the same authentic coal-fired tradition.

2009

Catering & Events

Launched our full-service catering operation, bringing the coal-fired experience to weddings, corporate events, and private parties throughout Palm Beach County.

2015

Online Ordering Launched

We joined the digital era with our online ordering platform, making it easier than ever for guests to enjoy authentic coal-fired pizza from the comfort of their homes.
