In 1991, Anthony Bruno walked into a small Boca Raton storefront with a dream: to bring the authentic coal-fired pizza he grew up eating in New Jersey to South Florida. Armed with a single cast-iron coal-fired oven and his grandmother's handwritten dough recipe, he opened our doors — and never looked back.
What started as a neighborhood pizza joint quickly became a local institution. Word spread about the signature crackly crust, the blistered char, and the impossibly fresh toppings. Decades later, that same uncompromising dedication to craft defines every pizza we put in the oven.

Anthony Bruno opens the original Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza at 21065 Powerline Rd, Boca Raton. A single coal oven, six tables, and an endless passion for authentic pizza.

A Culinary Institute of America graduate, Maria joined Anthony's in 2005 and has been the creative force behind our seasonal specials and expanded menu. Her philosophy: simple ingredients, executed perfectly.
James ensures that every guest receives a flawless experience from the moment they walk through our doors. With 15 years in hospitality management, his warm leadership defines our dining room culture.
Sofia orchestrates our catering operations with meticulous precision and boundless energy. From intimate dinners to large corporate events, she makes every occasion memorable with coal-fired flavors.
